Well alright, the Israelites, fresh outta Egypt, grumbled in the Wilderness of Sin—ironic, huh? Starvin’, thirsty, they chided Moses, tempting God Almighty with, “Is the Lord among us, or not?” Nah, sir! Massah and Meribah, they called it—testing and quarreling with the Lord Himself. Meanwhile, Adoniram Judson dangled in a Burmese prison, yet never asked that question. But here we are—pampered Christians, whining over nothin’, forgetting Jehovah-Nissi, “The Lord Our Banner.” He’s still here—His love’s waving high. So, brother and sister, “Is the Lord among us, or not?” Indeed—He is!
